Willy and I have fostered and adopted kids in Texas and Florida. I am also in the process of becoming a Guardian Ad Liten(GAL). We are very active in our local community mentoring, coaching and supporting foster and adoptive homes.
I love to travel. I always tell people that my reality show would be the kids and I traveling to obscure locations like Angor Wat and seeing if we can survive. No lame Disney cruises for us, we want to see the world! Willy has to work to support my travel habits so often times the kids and I are left to our own devices. This makes for some interesting adventures when you have young kids.
As of this moment we have 5 children Lisa 7, Willy Jr 6, Tilly 5, Eitan 3 and Sawyer 1. This number is subject to change. I am always open to adopting more children. Willy, however believes himself to be the "Voice of reason" and thinks five kids is more than enough. Were going to see who wins (hint - I always win).
Eitan can not tolerate any dairy and Sawyer is sensitive to gluten (as far as we can tell). This makes easy meals pretty much non existent.We try, but often fail, to eat as much unprocessed foods as possible. This also makes easy meals nearly impossible.
Life as a Bolander is busy, chaotic and sometimes stupid but most days I am happy to be where I am.
